🪅 Land Rover Discovery 3 Suspension Fault
Restart car. No warnings. Drive home, and about 20 minutes later, same fault. Scanned it the next morning with my GAP IIDtool: RLM-Suspension. C1130-66 (6C) Air spring air supply - Algorithm based failure signal - has too many transitions/events. Indy that did the 160k service did not remove the body.
How Does Air Suspension Work in Land Rover Discovery 2? In a Land Rover Discovery 2, the air suspension works by adjusting the ride height of the vehicle based on the terrain and driving conditions. The ECU (Engine Control Unit) controls the air compressor, which inflates or deflates the air bags located at the front, rear, and sides of the
Common problems with a Land Rover Discovery 3 include air suspension issues, faulty air compressors, defective or worn out air springs, and faulty valve blocks. Regular maintenance and inspections can help prevent these issues.

Problems with the air suspension seem to be less frequent with the Sport than in previous Range Rover models, but they still do occur. One owner reports "Whenever my RRS is lowered to "access" level a suspension system fault message apprears.". Another reports " Had the RRS back less than 2 hours and another "suspension fault."
Summary. Now you know what a suspension fault on a Range Rover means, it can include worn-out suspension components, leaks in the air suspension system, and malfunctioning electronic control units. In many cases, the problem can be fixed without a mechanic, but it may require some specialized tools and parts. If the problem persists, it’s
Hi All I need some extra brain power. I have just refurbished my suspension compressor changing the piston and cylinder. The compressor starts to run smooth when I first start the car but after about a minute I see that the compressor starts to slow down for 10 seconds then stutters and stops. Code thrown DTC C1A27 Normal Height Only.
When I had my vehicle serviced one of the recommended repairs required from the main dealer was to replace the air suspension compressor and software updates. They stated suspension warning on display intermittently, carried out SSD diagnostics on air suspension, found fault code C1A13-64. Parts required: KIT - COMPRESSOR - Part Number: LLR072537.
hi as @sierrafery mentions, it sounds like an air leak, more than likely in ur air tank , the compressor keeps running trying to make the air up and causes the compressor to overheat and then gives the warning symbol on ur instrument panel a code reader is a must with these vehicles, sorry but don’t personally know how good the i930 are , can say , the iid diagnostic reader by gap are
The Discovery 3 is a much more complex vehicle than its predecessor, packed with high tech features such as all round independent air suspension, electronic handbrake, twin exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valves and a vast number of sensors and electronic control units where pretty much every fault requires the vehicle being hooked up to specialist diagnostic equipment.
My 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE has a fault, when I am driving along towing my car trailer with my TVR Race car on the back, after 10 to 15 miles a warning light and bleep comes on, it says there is a HDC fault and then the suspension lowers it's self down. I stop turn things off and it resets it's self and then it happens again 10 to 15 miles later.
2005 LR3 Suspension Fault. Recently we had a crazy snowstorm, and i had only gone about 2 days without driving my car, after I actually had just completed a 2hr drive the day before. After that 2hr drive I noticed that the compressor was still making a noise even though the car was off. I just turned the car back on and off and everything was fine.
