Connector on the antenna side seems to be RP-TNC female (difficult to be certain with your photo) so that it cannot be directly plugged in port of the mobo if this last is like in the photo I uploaded in my previous post (RP-SMA female). You need an adapter RP-TNC male to RP-SMA male like that:
January 12, 2022. Z690 TOMAHAWK WIFI DDR4 2.5G LAN problem: I can NOT get the onboard 2.5G LAN working. I installed v26.2.0.1 from MSI’s site which did not work. I have tried installing older drivers as well as the newest from intel (v26.8) none of which work. The “intel proset adapter configuration utility” says that there is a bad cable
Just run Ethernet or buy an adapter because the onboard wifi is ass even when they’re tight. 22. [deleted] • 3 yr. ago. you'll just need to either get the back plate off or remove the motherboard and tighten the antenna mount with a small wrench, it's hidden by the back plate you see. 11.
Replacement wifi antenna for MSI Z370I GAMING PRO CARBON AC. The two seperate antenna it comes with have odd connectors on them (MMCX I think, I'm really not sure) and they don't screw onto the connectors on the motherboard, you push them in. I'm worried they're going to get pulled out really easily by accident or if I move the computer.
The Wireless module is pre-installed in the M.2 (Key-E) slot. Supports MU-MIMO TX/RX. Supports 20MHz, 40MHz, 80MHz,160MHz bandwidth in 2.4GHz/ 5GHz or 6GHz* bands. Supports 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/ ac/ ax. Supports Bluetooth ® 5.3**. * Wi-Fi 6E 6GHz may depend on every country’s regulations and will be ready in Windows 11.
ok. Doesn't really matter though. Antennas are pretty standard, which is what you asked about, not about technology and wifi versions. All the fancy specs are part of the wifi card, not the antenna. Looking at the specs, your router has 5 dBi antennas which is pretty typical.
Jul 1, 2014. 764. 1. 11,165. Feb 19, 2015. #4. It is a wifi signal detector. The same as an antenna but just you have the ability to move it around more. If you don't like it or use it you can disconnect it and replace it with normal antennas.
All Intel® Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) products support the new 6GHz band for Wi-Fi. Usage of the 6GHz band relies on Microsoft Windows* (Windows® 11) Operating System support . Please contact Microsoft for additional details.
